I get it. You have a huge problem. There is a show about fat people starving themselves to loose weight, fat people dancing to loose weight, and fat people who were celebrities in the 80's and you want to see them in good shape again so that you don't feel so old anymore. All of this while there is a great show about Jersey trash punching their dates and roofy-ing women. Your week is ruined. You thought that you could curl up by yourself and relax to these shows, but some asshole scheduled them to be all on at the same time.
But wait, what's this? DVR? You mean that it is possible? Mankind can watch crappy TV, even if it is on while you are out walking your girlfriend's pomeranian.
Yep. DVR. Scientists and engineers have dedicated a portion of their brain to inventing a machine that lets you watch the important things on TV. Im positive that a poll of the most frequently DVR'ed shows would have NOVA and PBS specials all the way at the top.
But wait, I don't have the forethought to DVR a day ahead, or in the morning before I go to work. Well that's okay, because the philanthropists working for the DVR companies have made it possible for you to record your favorite shows from your fancy phone, or your computer. Phew!
So, what could they hate us for? How about, our perseverance to watch all of the wonderful shows that is presented to us?
